Two Individuals Charged After CPS Recovers and Returns Stolen Bicycles

On July 12, 2026, Charlottetown Police Services received a report of two bikes that were stolen from a vehicle bike rack overnight. Both bikes were later recovered and returned to the owner.

57-year-old Robert Brown was charged with:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime, less than $5,000 (s. 354 CCC)
  • Breach of probation (s. 733 CCC)

He was released and is scheduled to appear in court on a later date.

On July 14, 2026, Charlottetown Police Services received a report of a bike being stolen from a vehicle bike rack at approximately 9pm. The bike was later recovered and returned to the owner.

48-year-old Mark MacKinnon was charged with:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime, less than $5,000 (s. 354 CCC)
  • Breach of recognizance (s. 811 CCC)

He was released and is scheduled to appear in court on a later date.
