At approximately 12:50 am this morning, Charlottetown Police Services responded to a complaint of a single vehicle collision that occurred at the corner of Euston and Esher Street. The vehicle had rolled onto it’s side and came to rest against a utility pole.
Police determined that the uninjured driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was displaying signs of impairment by alcohol and was arrested.
The driver, a 47 year old Charlottetown man was subsequently charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
