Last night (July 19, 2023) at approximately 6:50pm, Charlottetown Police Services were dispatched to the Confederation Center of the Arts in response to a disturbance during a Town Hall meeting discussing proposed Overdose Prevention Site.
The investigation is ongoing with review of public video of the disturbance and the collection of victim/witness statements. Police will provide an update if charges are laid in this matter.
