Impaired Driver Charged Saturday Afternoon

At approximately 3 p.m. on September 5, Charlottetown Police Services General Patrol Unit received a report of a suspected impaired driver. Officers located the vehicle in a plaza parking lot with the driver still behind the wheel. The reported signs of impairment were confirmed as the breath samples came back above the legal limit.

A 75-year-old male was charged with impaired driving. He was released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.
