At approximately 7:15 a.m. on September 5, Charlottetown Police Services General Patrol Unit responded to several reports of property damage, both residential and commercial, near Euston Street and Weymouth Street.
With assistance from the Telecoms Unit and eWatch cameras, officers were able to quickly identify the suspect as 41-year-old Mark Tippett and track him to a nearby address.
Tippett was arrested without incident and charged with the following offences:
- Mischief – five counts (s. 430 CCC)
- Theft under $5,000 (s. 334 CCC)
- Breach of probation – three counts (s. 733 CCC)
He was remanded into custody, and his next court appearance is on September 21, 2026.
