Shoplifting – Charges Laid

At 5:30 pm Saturday night (Dec 5), Charlottetown Police Services responded to a complaint from a retail store reporting that a generator had been stolen from the store.  Officers were provided a description of the suspects and vehicle.

At 9:00 pm that same night , Police located the suspect on Grafton Street and arrested him.

A 29 year old Charlottetown male has been charged with theft under $5000 dollars and breach of probation.  He was released from custody with conditions and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
