Thursday morning, Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit arrested a 36 year old Charlottetown male whom had three (3) outstanding arrest warrants.
During the arrest, Officers located a significant amount of cash and drugs. The male had over $5000 dollars cash and $17,000 worth of cocaine, crystal meth and ritalin.
The accused now faces four (4) additional charges:
- Possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
- Possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine)
- Possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking (methylphenidate – ritalin)
- Breach of probation
The accused has over fifteen charges pending and has been remanded in jail until his next court appearance on June 3rd.
