On July 7, 2026, Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit conducted a targeted vehicle stop in Charlottetown and seized 62 grams of fentanyl, cash, cell phones and other drug paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
As a result of the investigation, 27-year-old Graydon Hearn has been charged with CDSA 5(2) possession (of fentanyl) for the purpose of trafficking, and 39-year-old Rebecca Cairns was also charged with CDSA 5(2) possession (of fentanyl) for the purpose of trafficking.
Hearn was remanded in custody, and Cairns was released on a release order. Both will all appear in court on July 16, 2026.
