At 9:00 pm Friday evening (July 10), Police captured a vehicle driving 111 kilometres per hour on University Avenue which is a 50 km/hr speed zone.
The speeding vehicle was pulled over and a 25 year old Charlottetown male was fined $750.00 dollars for speeding under the Highway Traffic Act.
Police are reminding the public to respect posted speed limits as to not put themselves and others at risk of a potential collision.
