Charlottetown Police Services charged two individuals with impaired operation of a motor vehicle in separate occurrences overnight.
At approximately 1:15 am, Police responded to a report of an intoxicated female driving in the area of Lapthorne Avenue. Police located the vehicle and determined that the driver was impaired by alcohol. A 49 year old Toronto female has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
At approximately 2:10 am, while on Patrol, Police located a vehicle that was driving erratically on St Peters Road and performed a traffic stop. The Officer noticed signs of impairment and arrested the driver. A 23 year old Dunstaffnage male has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
