Late yesterday afternoon, Police responded to an alert from the LPR (License Plate Recognition) system. The alert was from a camera on Euston Street that had capture an image of a license plate that had been reported stolen from a parked vehicle on Kensington Road on July 15, 2020.
Police located the vehicle on Gerald Street and the driver was arrested. A 53 year old Mount Albion male was subsequently charged with possession of property obtained by crime and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
