Charlottetown Police Services Street Crime Unit, with the assistance from the Rapid Tactical Deployment Unit and Patrol Officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act Search Warrant at a residence on Dewar Drive in Stratford.
The search resulted in the seizure of:
- 46 grams of crystal meth
- $2800.00 cash
- two (2) replica airsoft/bb guns
- bear spray and knives
- other items consistent with trafficking drugs
A 25 year old Stratford male has been charged with:
- possession of drugs (crystal meth) for the purpose of trafficking
- possession of a prohibited weapon
- breach of probation
The investigation is ongoing and further charges may be laid.
The accused has been released with conditions and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
