On October 12,2021 at 2:31 am Charlottetown Police Services were called to a single motor vehicle collision on Riverside Drive in which a vehicle left the road, struck a light standard and landed in the Hillsborough River.
A lone male occupant was removed from the vehicle and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Charlottetown Police Services are continuing the investigation.
