Charlottetown Police Services responded to a complaint on Euston Street at approximately 11:30 pm last night. The investigation lead to the arrest of a 48 year old Greenmount man who was subsequently charged with Uttering Threats.
The accused was released on conditions and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
Charlottetown Police Street Crime Unit located and arrested a man that was wanted on PEI last night.
The accused, a 24 year old Charlottetown male had been wanted and evading Police since Oct 15th. Since that time, he has been linked to multiple thefts in the City. In total, he is being charged with over 20 criminal code offences including theft under $5000, breach of probation, mischief under $5000 and failing to appear in court.
The accused remains in custody and will appear in Charlottetown Provincial Court later today for a remand hearing.
Two other persons that were with the accused at the time were also arrested in relation to an Break and Enter that occurred in Summerside. A 41 year old Charlottetown male and a 32 year old Charlottetown female were taken into custody and turned over to Summerside Police. They remain in custody and will appear in Summerside court later today.
UPDATE: November 15th, the delivery truck has been located.

Charlottetown Police Services are seeking public assistance in locating a stolen Ben’s Bread Truck.
The truck was last seen on MacAleer Drive at approximately 1:00pm on November 14th.
2008 White GMC 3500 Delivery Truck, bearing PEI plate # C5253. The actual truck is pictured below.

Charlottetown Police Services are seeking public assistance in locating a stolen go-kart.
The theft occurred sometime overnight (Sun 11pm – Mon 10am) from a residence located on Northridge Parkway. Tire tracks led to Wilmont Lane.
The actual go-kart is pictured below.

Charlottetown Police Services responded to several complaints of possible impaired drivers over the weekend, two of which have led to criminal code charges.
On Sunday Nov 10th at approximately 1:20 am, Police noticed a vehicle driving in the wrong direction on Kent Street. The vehicle was pulled over and Police determined that the driver was impaired by alcohol and was arrested. A 20 year old St Felix man has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
On Monday Nov 11th at approximately 1:45 pm, Police responded to a complaint of an intoxicated female getting into a vehicle and driving away on Mount Edward Road. Police located the female driver a short time later and arrested her for impaired driving. A 40 year old Charlottetown woman was subsequently charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
The two accused’s will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.

The Charlottetown Police Street Crime Unit have laid charges as a result of an arrest on October 29th.
A quantity of speed pills (methamphetamine), cash and other drug paraphernalia were seized during the arrest. A 38 year old Charlottetown woman has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
The accused will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.

Charlottetown Police Services are seeking public assistance in locating a missing Charlottetown man.
Amos AMOS-ESONWANNE was last seen one week ago (Nov 1) at his residence in Browns Court. He has no vehicle and likely on foot. He is 6’1″, 160 pounds.

At 4:40 pm yesterday, Charlottetown Police Services responded to a report of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on University Avenue at the Enman Crescent cross walk.
The pedestrian was crossing the cross walk from east to west and the driver was heading south on University Avenue in the right hand lane when the collision occurred.
The pedestrian was injured and transported by Island EMS to the QEH with undetermined injuries. The driver of the vehicle was charged under the motor vehicle act with failing to yield the right of way to a pedestrian. The investigation is ongoing.

Charlottetown Police Services responded to a disturbance at a residence on Westcomb Crescent at approximately 8:50 pm last night.
The investigation has lead to assault charges being laid against a 29 year old Charlottetown male. The accused has since been released from custody with conditions to refrain from any contact with the victim.

At approximately 4:30 pm yesterday, Police responded to a call of a male that appeared to be intoxicated and was about to leave in his vehicle. Police were able to intercept the vehicle and determined that the driver was indeed impaired by alcohol. A 63 year old Charlottetown male was subsequently charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle. The accused will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
