Traffic Advisory – Spring Run Off 5km/10km Race

Charlottetown Police Services are advising the public of a planned 5/10km marathon that will be occurring this Saturday April 30th.

Motorist are asked to be mindful of runners, event volunteers and police along the route.  The marathon will start at 8:30 am and is expected to last up to 2.5 hours.  See below route map.

 

 

Charlottetown Police Services is proud to support the Atlantic Superstore Spring Food Drive.   On April 9th, the CPS Community Action Team assisted with the collection of food and monetary donations at the Atlantic Superstore.    Food donations were collected and distributed to local food banks in support of local residents who are in need of support.

 

Charlottetown Police Services had the pleasure of escorting the Coca Cola Holiday Truck Tour while in Charlottetown.

We wish to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Safe and Happy Holiday season.

Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday and donated money towards the Feed a Family turkey drive. We were able to get 100 turkeys, which worked out to be over $3200.00 raised for the Upper Room Food Bank.

The Community Action Team Patrol Officers took some time to patrol the Hillsborough Park community in the antique Car 52.

Charlottetown Polices Services new mascot Copper was thrilled to receive fan mail from Ramsey.

Ramsey is from Little Rock Arkansas and is collecting autographs from mascots from across the world.

Copper was happy to receive Ramsey’s letter and sent him an autographed picture.

A big shout out to the staff of the HMCS Charlottetown for all their hard work in raising money and awareness for the children’s wish campaign. Charlottetown police are always glad to help out these worthwhile campaigns.

Charlottetown Police Services along with other Law Enforcement Agencies attended the National Police and Peace Officers Memorial Day service at the Summerside Trinity United Church this past sunday.

The annual ceremony is in honour and recognition of fallen police and peace officers whom made the ultimate sacrifice in the performance of their duties.
