At 11:30 pm on Friday night, Charlottetown Police observed a suspicious vehicle on Queen Street. The Officer queried the licence plate and it came back as stolen. The driver of the vehicle was arrested and taken into custody. Other stolen property was located during the investigation.
A 41 year old Charlottetown male has been charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime, fail to comply with an undertaking and breach of probation. The accused was released with Undertaking conditions and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.

Charlottetown Police Services are investigating the theft of a vehicle that occurred sometime between 01:30 and 10:30 am on Thursday September 12th.
The vehicle is a red 2005 Toyota Tacoma, bearing PEI plate 39VW6. It was stolen from a property located on Spring Park Road.

Charlottetown Police Services responded to a Domestic Violence call this morning at 01:30 am.
A 59 year old male was arrested at the scene. He has been charged with:
Assault with a weapon
Assault causing bodily harm
Uttering threats
Breach of Probation
The accused appeared in Court this morning and has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance on September 19th.

Two Charlottetown men have been charged with Robbery following an incident that occurred on August 31st.
The Robbery occurred inside the Kent Street public parking entrance at approximately 2:30 am. The victim was assaulted by the two males and a cell phone and wallet were stolen. The crime was captures on video and has led to Robbery charges being laid against two Charlottetown males, ages 25 and 39.
Both men are currently in custody and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.

Charlottetown Police Services responded to a possible impaired driver on Minna Jane Drive at 9:20 pm last night.
Police located the vehicle and pulled it over. As a result of the investigation, a 32 year old Rice Point man was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
The accused will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.

Charlottetown Police Services responded to a Break and Enter alarm at Island Active Wear on September 7th at 3:12 am.
Three suspects broke into the business and stole a significant quantity of brand name jeans (True Religion, Mavi, Diesel, AG Denim, Joe’s Jeans, G-Star, Rock Revival, Rich & Skinny, DL1961) and a quantity of Oakley sunglasses.
A 49 year old Charlottetown man was arrested a short time later and charged with Break and Enter and Breach of Probation. He has been remanded in custody and will appear in Provincial Court on September 19th.

It was with great pleasure and pride that Charlottetown Police Services participated in the 2019 Truck Convoy in support of the 4th Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics (PEI) on August 25th.
The convoy was a great success and raised over $12,000 for this worthwhile cause.
