Stolen Vehicle Overnight – 4th in Last Week – UPDATE LOCATED

Charlottetown Police Services are investigating the theft of a vehicle that occurred sometime overnight.
The vehicle is a white 2012 Dodge Journey, bearing PEI plate 915UB. It was stolen from a residential driveway on Irwin Drive.
Police are reminding the public to not leave their keys inside vehicles. This vehicle is the 4th stolen vehicle reported to Charlottetown Police in the last week.
Theft of vehicles and theft from vehicles are largely preventable by following a few simple tips:
Do not leave valuables inside your vehicle
Do not leave your keys inside the vehicle
Keep your vehicle doors locked

Charlottetown Police Services are investigating a vehicle / pedestrian collision that occurred on Tuesday morning (Dec 3) at approximately 8:45 am.
The pedestrian was at the end of Tower Street at the Charlottetown Mall parking intersection, as she began to cross, she was struck by a dark sedan vehicle, possibly a Honda Civic.
The vehicle did stop but once the female started to get up, the vehicle left the area.
Police would also like to speak with any witnesses that may have seen the collision.

Charlottetown Police Services are investigating the theft of a vehicle that occurred sometime overnight.
The vehicle is a grey 2011 Chev Silverado, bearing PEI plate 565MH. It was stolen from a residential driveway on Brackley Point Road.
Distinct features on the truck include an ” I Love LA” plate on the front and a Support Military Ribbon, camo design stuck on the rear tailgate.

Charlottetown Police Services is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the two suspects and the suspect vehicle depicted in the attached video.
The two suspects were involved in a residential Break Enter & Theft which occurred during the evening of November 22, 2019 shortly after 5:00 PM (time stamp on video is 12 hours ahead of actual time).
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a white Kia Sedona.

Charlottetown Police Services responded to several complaints of possible impaired drivers over the weekend, of those, two separate charges were laid.
Saturday 9:45 pm – A complaint of a female driving on Pownal Street yelling out of the drivers side window resulted with Police locating the vehicle and pulling it over. Police determined that the female was impaired by alcohol and arrested her. A 19 year old Head of Hillsborough female has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
Sunday 2:00 pm – Police responded to a complaint of male driving a vehicle on Riverside Drive that may be impaired by drugs. Police located the vehicle and conducted a vehicle stop. The driver displayed signs of impairment by drugs. An Officer trained as a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) confirmed that the driver was under the influence of drugs and made the demand that a blood sample be provided. A 29 year old Charlottetown man may face impaired driving charges pending the toxicology results of the blood.

Charlottetown Police Services responded to a disturbance complaint at a residence on Sydney Street Saturday night. The suspect had left the area prior to Police arrival. Some damage had been caused to a door of the residence.
A short time later Police located the suspect at his residence where another disturbance had occurred. A 25 year old Charlottetown male was arrested and subsequently charged with mischief under $5000 and assault. The accused spent the night in jail and was released Sunday with conditions, he will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.

While on routine patrol Saturday afternoon, Police received an alert from the LPR (License Plate Recognition) system of a license plate that had been reported stolen earlier in the day.
Police located the vehicle bearing the stolen license plate on Allen Street and attempted to pull it over but it fled and Police did not pursue due to public safety concerns. The vehicle was located a short time later by another Police Officer that was able to pull it over on Peake Street.
The lone occupant and driver of the vehicle was arrested and taken into custody. A 32 year old Charlottetown male has been charged with:
Possession of property obtained by crime
Flight from Police
Driving while Prohibited
The accused was released from custody and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.

Charlottetown Police Services responded to a report of two males fighting at a business establishment on Grafton Street Friday afternoon.
Upon arrival Police located one of the two men. Video surveillance led Police to arrest that male. A 39 year old Charlottetown male has been charged with assault, causing a disturbance and uttering threats.
The accused will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.

Charlottetown Police Services are investigating a vehicle / pedestrian collision that occurred yesterday (Nov 28) at approximately 5:15 pm.
The pedestrian was waiting to cross at the Ellen’s Creek Plaza crosswalk on North River Road when he was struck by a dark SUV that was travelling South on North River Road.
The SUV did stop, and two females checked on the pedestrians condition. Once they confirmed he was ok, they got back in the vehicle and left without providing any contact information.
Police would like to speak with these two females. They are believed to be in their early 20’s.
The vehicle can only be described as a dark SUV.
Police would also like to speak with any witnesses that may have seen the collision.

The vehicle is a grey 2008 4 door Ford F250, bearing PEI plate B114J. It was stolen from a residential driveway on MacLean Avenue.
The pick up truck was equipped with a red salter in the bed of the truck.
