At approximately 3:30 pm yesterday afternoon (Aug 17), a tradesman drove from Bunbury Road in Stratford to Park Street in Charlottetown with his pick up truck tailgate open. A yellow and black Dewalt brand tool box fell out somewhere along the way (contained a significant amount of hand tools). The tradesperson retraced his drive and did not find the tool box along that route.

Charlottetown Police Services have made an arrest in connection to several property crime files within the City.
At approximately 9:30 am yesterday morning (Aug 11), members of the Street Crime Unit located and arrested a 32 year old Charlottetown male. He has been charged with:
Possession of property obtained by crime (x6 counts)
Breach of probation (x6 counts)
Misuse of a credit card (x4 counts)
Over the last month, it’s alleged that the accused used stolen credit cards that were stolen out of unlocked vehicles and then used at local businesses to purchase items using the tap feature on the credit card.
The accused has been remanded in custody and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
A lot of these crimes can be prevented by:
Locking your vehicle doors
Remove valuables such as wallets, purses, electronics and sporting equipment.

On Sunday morning at approximately 10:00am, Charlottetown Police Services responded to a complaint of a vehicle that was stolen from Fitzroy Street.
Through the course of the investigation, Police learned that a witness had observed a company truck being driven by an unknown person in the East Royalty area, when it should have been parked in a locked compound for the weekend. The witness suspected the truck was stolen and proceeded to follow it and provided Police with updates on their location. The driver of the vehicle eventually got out of the truck and fled on foot in the Robinson Road area. Responding Officer located the suspect on Rilla Road attempting to flee Police on a bicycle that he had stolen from a nearby residence. The suspect was arrested without incident.
A short time after this incident, Police learned that the vehicle, while driven by the suspect, had collided with a parked motorcycle on Andrews Court.
A 42 year old Charlottetown male has been charged with theft of motor vehicle, theft of bicycle, failing to remain at the scene of an accident and breach of probation. In addition to these charges, the accused displayed signs of being impaired by drugs and was taken to the hospital to provide blood samples to determine his level of drug intoxication. A charge of driving while impaired by drugs is pending toxicology results.
The accused appeared in court this morning and has been remanded in custody and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.

A 23 year old Charlottetown male was arrested Friday night in connection to the two arson files.
As reported last week, Police had responded to two separate structure fires that were deliberately set during the early morning hours of July 19th. A male suspect was captured on E-watch and local business surveillance and later positively identified.
The accused was subsequently charged with two counts of arson. He was remanded in custody over the weekend and released with conditions yesterday morning and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.

Harun SADAT 24 years old
5 feet 7 inches tall , approximately 170 pounds.
Black hair, brown eyes
He has several earrings on both ears and his lower lip.
There is no clothing description but believed to be wearing black sandals.
He was last seen at approximately 2:30 pm yesterday (July 20th) on Hunter Lane.
