On Wednesday June 26th, at 4:57 pm, Charlottetown Police Services responded to a Break and Enter in progress call on Upper Prince Street.
A witness observed a male gain entry a residence, as police were responding the male had exited the residence and fled on foot. Police were able to locate the male.
Subsequently, a 31 year Charlottetown male was arrested for Break and Enter and he was lodged at the Provincial Correction Centre.
The 31 year old male will appear in court later today for a remand hearing.

On Wednesday, June 26th, at 2:33 pm, Charlottetown Police Services responded to a robbery in progress. A 73 year old male was assaulted and money was taken from his pocket by another male. Police were able to recovery the money and return it to 73 year old male.
Subsequently a 39 year old Charlottetown man was arrested for robbery and lodged at the Provincial Correctional Centre.
The 39 year old male will appear in court later today for a remand hearing.

On Wednesday, June 26, at 10:37 am, Charlottetown Police Services responded to a report of an assault at a residence on University Ave.
A 26 year old Charlottetown man was subsequently arrested and charged for Assault.
The accused was released from custody on conditions and will appear in court to answer to the charges at later date.

Charlottetown Police Services are looking for public assistance in locating a vehicle that fled the scene of an accident.
The collision occurred at approximately 11:50 am on Monday June 24th near Needs Convenience at 180 Brackley Point Road.
The vehicle that fled is pictured below, a burgundy Ford Escape with rear tinted windows and significant front end damage from the collision.
The vehicle was last seen heading north on Mount Edward Road

The theft occurred in the A&W parking lot at 650 University Avenue.
The passenger side window was smashed to gain entry and item(s) were stolen.
The theft occurred Friday June 21 between 6:00 and 6:30 pm.
Police are looking for any witnesses or information relating to this crime.

Both males, known to each other, got into a physical altercation.
A 39 year old Charlottetown male has been charged with Causing a Disturbance and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date..

Charlottetown Police Services responded to a report of two males fighting on Euston Street at 4:30 am on June 15, 2019.
Both males, known to each other, got into an argument which escalated into a physical altercation and damage to a vehicle. The investigation lead to both males being charged.
A 42 year old Charlottetown male has been charged with Mischief Under $5000 and Possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes.
A 31 year old Charlottetown male has been charged with Theft under $5000 and Taking a motor vehicle without consent.
Both males will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.

Charlottetown Police Services responded to multiple complaints of thefts from vehicles that occurred during the early morning hours on Thursday June 13th.
Most complaints originated from the East Royalty / Hillsborough Park areas. Streets targeted included: Herbert Street, Cambridge Drive, Westcombe Crescent and Elena Court.
Police are seeking public assistance in identifying one of the two suspects involved (attached video).
Police are also requesting that anyone with video surveillance in those areas to check their recordings from June 13th between the hours of midnight and 5:00 am and contact Charlottetown Police Services if any persons are capture on the recording.

While on routine patrol at 00:45 am on June 13th, Charlottetown Police Services noticed a suspicious vehicle driving on Grafton Street. A traffic stop ensued on the Hillsborough Bridge and the Officer determined that the driver was impaired by alcohol.
A 38 year old Tracadie Cross male was arrested and subsequently charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle. The accused will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
